Animation
Sue's Rampage
This was my final project for my creatures and quadrupeds class. After graduating college, I went back and continued to fix it further. Some notable changes in the updated version are weight shifting, timing of certain parts of the shot, and color correction done in post production. I also found out while doing this project I very much enjoy creature animation.
Investigations
This project was focused on creating a believable interaction within a environment. I was tasked with creating a personality for the character and translating it into the animation. My character is a detective that is always on alert and is suspicious of everything, however he also has an itchy trigger finger.
How's My Singing?
This project was to show a two character dialogue interaction. I chose a line from The Witcher Netflix show that I thought would be fun to animate. I focused on getting facial expressions that showed frustration and pettiness between the two characters.
Extreme Closeup - Upper Half
This project was focused on the movement of the upper half of the face while speaking. I chose a line from The Lord of the Rings: Extended Editions since they are some of my favorite movies. I was mainly focused on eye darts and the movement of eyebrows for this project.
Dog Walk, Trot
and Run
This project was focused on creating a quadruped walk, trot/canter, and run cycle. I chose to do a dog for this assignment. I mainly focused on perfecting each cycle while working around the challenges of the rig. After that, I added some personality to give some character to the dog.
